Fat Tracks Recording Studio was opened in 1988 with the goal of providing a professional recording studio at affordable prices. This goal made it possible for the studio to tend to the needs of major label artists like Korn, and Buck Owens while continuing to provide the best possible service to the scores of local artists and musicians, gospel groups and local advertising and production companies that have been the majority of the studio's client base. Starting with the facility's original owner Buck Owens, through Fat Tracks and since 2005, Pig Studios, the building has a 40 year history of being a place where people have come to make music.

This legendary facility will be closing its doors soon. As of April 1, 2008, we will no longer accept new projects and those in production will be finished in April. The studio’s lights will go dark on April 30th. We want to thank the many friends who have been a part of our musical family and especially thank the Buck Owens organization for allowing the studio to carry on the facility’s rich history into the 21st century.
